This bow is a Black Beauty!  The riser is black with multi-layered diamondwood.  Quiet with little to no hand shock.  The limbs have a Bamboo core with black glass overlay.  There is dark hardwood in the limb wedge.  The limb tips are reinforced for any modern string.  The small tips reduce hand-shock and give speed.  The 16" riser with long, sweeping limbs are attached on the belly side for the added bonus of making this bow a smooth, sweet shooter!  The higher brace height gives you the ease of draw and more forgiving of release.  It weighs 2.5 pounds!!  It has a nice feeling, comfortable grip.  This bow comes with a Flemish Dyneema string** (high performance material).  Used for its, durability, strength and speed.  This great price includes the bow set up with a nocking point, silencers, and the shelf and side material installed.  We recommend using one of our large end bow stringers to string up this bow, (purchased separately for $15.00.) NOW INCLUDED!!

One year warranty on riser/limbs for bows shipped to the US.  (No warranty on International bows)

 

GRIP OPTION:  This option is no longer available.

As an added bonus, with this bow, you can add the option of having the grip "Twiggered" for a more secure grip!! (additional charge) (see picture)  $30.00  Please allow at least a week delivery time to add this grip (for finish drying time etc.)  Twiggered pattern style may vary.

 

 This would make a great 3D, target or hunting bow.  Easy to maneuver in a tree stand or on the ground!!

    The bow shoots harder than i thought it would,,, which is good. John and Gayle got the bow out quickly. I cant say the same for the postal service. I tracked it and they ran the package back and forth between two citys TWICE. But i have it now, and getting it tuned in...which is always fun. Good job John,,good bow

    First thing I want to say working with John to figure out what I needed was Great, A true gentleman. He and I talked for a good while and I enjoyed the conversation! Now about the Black Spitfire bow. It feels like an old Black Widow bow I had about 20 years ago, the blance point is a little more to the rear, to me it feels like a bow should. I went with a 30 lb bow. I am like John I am getting a little age on me but the poundage is good for me, I am looking forward to the upcoming 3D season. buy the way don't even think this bow is slow even at 30 lbs this bad boy can really sling an arrow.

    I was a bit skeptical but thought for $220 I might as well give it a try. I'm thrilled with the purchase. Never had a bow "point" more naturally. Seems to shoot where I'm looking. Don't know if it's the deflexed riser or what, but whatever it is, I'm happy with it. It's smooth. It's quiet. I've been shooting 1716s but would like to try the Venom carbon arrows sold by Twig Archery soon.

    I orderd the spit fire 55lber i received the bow in only 2days i think. Super fast shipping. The bow is awsome! Super accurate and the quality is second to none,and its a very fast shooter as well. It came with a very good string, and the whiskers and knock already attached. Thanks twiggy i will be ordering another bow from you very soon. Very excellent company!

    Desiring to begin archery I consulted a Level II archery instructor concerning equipment and he recommended Twig Archery. "Call John at Twig; he's good." I did and he was a joy to speak with, and by taking an appropriate amount of time with me he was able to determine what would provide a pleasurable experience with archery. I was set up with a Black Spitfire at a draw weight appropriate for my advanced age and experience. When the bow arrived a few days later it was tuned, good to go. Apart from being a nice looking bow (the limbs on the belly are a distinguishing feature), it shoots smoothly, no stacking; it's an enjoyable bow to shoot, and I am, of course, satisfied with the bow and recommend it and Twig Archery, too.

    I picked up this bow- black spitfire second from a buddy here in Waco Tx. well today I shot our local coarse 30 animals most shot were less than 25 yards I had 1 miss the bow feels like a DIAMOND in your hand is the best way to describe it. awesome. also I would like to buy a set of 40 pounds limbs now 30 I plan to hunt with is bow for deer

    I own several bows. The Spitfire is by far may favorite. It is beautiful, almost silent and accurate. I agree with all the above reviews. Thank you Twig for a great bow.
