This bow is fantastic and for the features you get, I really don't think you can beat the price. The customer service from Twig Archery was great as well. The only complaint I have is that they shipped my bow priority mail and they don't provide tracking numbers so I couldn't track it. I was in limbo for a little bit since it took 8 days for a shipment covering 140 miles. But, overall, the bow, the price, and the service were great.

Like a lot of other reviewers I am new to trad archery and did a lot of research on which bow to buy. I went with the Sage based on other reviews. A friend of mine is a bowyer and has several custom bows and he was impressed by the quality of the Sage for the money I paid.
My only thing is that some of the edges on the riser are a bit sharp and there is some slight cosmetic stuff that I'd like to clean up. So I plan on giving the riser another sanding and a better finish, which I'm rather excited about as I get to "make it my own."
Thank you Twig archery for giving me a great deal as well. I bought the Package number 3 and everything included with was a great deal compared to other sites. Great for the new archer without much cash on hand!

This bow is an instant love! It is so fun to shoot with and seems so naturally synced with you. My daughter and I got this bow, as we are entering into the world of archery. We have test run some other bows at pro shops, and have another starter bow to compare to. I debated this one, as I did not get to try it in person first. I am so happy I went for the online purchase. It is FANTASTIC!

Hi Everyone...Beverly here
So as you all might assume, I have access to all different brands and models of recurves. When my dad told me about the Sage, it sounded like the perfect bow for me. I took one out for a test shoot and loved it immediately! The bow is lightweight and the grip fits nicely in my hand, which were two important aspects to me. It is a very smooth shooting bow and quiet...that is where your cat whiskers come into play ;) Price wise it is a steal, which doesn't hurt!! Archery is such a great sport and I am happy that it has really sparked an interest in men and women! So men, get your lady a Sage too and go outside and do something together!!

This is my first ever bow. I ordered the package number one since I knew I needed a stringer too. It was easy to set up and the fact that the string came with the silencers and nocking point installed was awesome. I just shot it for the first time yesterday and it was fun and easy to shoot! Also it arrived very quickly, very impressed with the shipping. Thanks Twig!

Getting back into Archery after many years. Did not want to spend a lot. This bow is perfect. After my strength improves I will move up to a heaver draw weight. Only problem is my girls want to shoot after being taught in school and I need to buy them a Samick Polaris for them to shoot. Twig is great to do business with I am coming back.

The Samick Sage is really a quality bow. I got it for my daughter, because she's so into the "Hunger Games". We started with the 25# limbs, and she can shoot for hours. Hey, if it keeps her off the internet, I'm for it. The only complaint I have is the shipping box. It was crushed in about 4 inches, but the bow and parts were fine. I think for the money, please send it in a sturdier box - or at least wrap it in bubble wrap a few times. The postal boxes are terrible.

From the time I opened the box, and put the Samick Sage bow together it has been a blast to shoot. I also enjoyed watching the Setup Video to make sure that I had setup my bow properly. After shooting this bow at least over a 1000 times now I can say that it is an excellent bow that works wonderfully. The other reviews about this bow have been spot on. Thanks for a great product and great service from Twig Archery as well!

As a new archer, I spent about a month researching bows. I lurked on archery forums, I went to sport shops, and I watched a million YouTube videos. Everywhere I went, the Samick Sage got the best reviews. And they were RIGHT!
This is a beautiful bow. It's well made, shoots like a dream and you can't beat the price! I'm very pleased with the entire package. I ordered the number 3 setup, and I was ready to go!
The best part of all, this isn't a cheapie starter bow. This bow should last me for quite awhile, and if I get really strong, the best part is, I can order new limbs!
THANK YOU Twig Archery!
