I wanted to thank John for taking the time to speak with me and get me set up with my first bow. His knowledge and patience were greatly appreciated! My Samick Sage bow is beautiful! The hubby liked it so much, I called back and ordered him one as well. I would highly recommend not only this bow, but Twig Archery for anyone interested in taking up archery. Their quality, customer service, quick turnaround time and advice are outstanding! Thanks once again to John and Gayle.

Just got started with archery, so don't have a ton of experience with bows, but this one sure has been fun to shoot. And the price can't be beat. The folks at Twig archery were really helpful getting me all set up.

I'm new to archery(4 lessons to confirm my notion to do this) so I can't compare my Sage to other equipment. But when I opened the box I thought it was beautiful and the Easton Blues arrows were pretty awsome as well. It's a nice package(with side quiver)and the price is very affordable.
Shooting the bow was a pleasure and I was able to get some good groupings the first day at 10yds. Gotta start somewhere, right. Anyway the arrows flew straight so the set up of the bow and the arrows were right on. I can see why this bow gets such good reviews all over the internet.
John knows his stuff and his customer service is second to none. Thanks alot John and Gayle for making this little adventure into archery a pleasure.

To start off I would like to say that I am 20 years old, male, and bought the 55 pound Samick Sage. I purchased this bow because I found out in order to hunt/shoot you do not have to have the new latest and greatest compound bow. I found an old bear brown bear recurve at an antique dealer and ever since then I have been hooked.
The bow: 55 pound draw Samick Sage
The Results: Once I first got this bow I was suprised at all the accesories that came with the bow. Everything was there and once the string was on (with the help of free bowstringer) I was ready to shoot. The look of this bow is very classy, dark brown that even the most weary deer wouldn't notice. First shot I was suprised at how easy, even at 55 pounds, the bow was nice and smooth pulling back. Shooting off the shelf (with the velcro rest that came with it) this bow was very precise shooting feathered arrows. I have been shooting recurves for only a few weeks now and everyone that has tried the bow gets very nice results. Good groupings thanks to a pre-determined nock point put on by Twig Archery that needed no fixing. Even from 40 yards this bow still packs a wallop! Since I was confident that this bow was going to be perfect for shooting traditionally, I decided to put on a sight, stabilizer, and whisker biscuit just because you can and WOW! I will never shoot an expensive compound bow again! Once you get the pin on to the target just let go and this bow will hit again and again. Perfect bow for bow fishing with the riser and limbs being laminated and waterproof. The price of this bow mostly just from Twig Archery is a STEAL. I have let my cousin who is an avid compound bowhunter shoot it and his compound is now for sale. Another compound hunter that has been lured in by the price and quality of this bow.
If you are considering buying this bow I would say do not wait any longer. If you are worried that it might take long to get this bow don't worry, Twig Archery is on top of their game. Ordered on Monday and had it by Wednesday morning. Couldn't be happier with the purchase of this bow and the company Twig Archery that made my ambition now my love.
Thank you Twig Archery for the amazing customer service and great prices.

I am just getting started with traditional archery and well archery in general. I had done weeks worth of research, but still had many questions and was afraid I was going to totally mess something up or make a mistake ordering my first bow.
John and Gayle were excellent at answering all of my newbie questions and recommending this bow and its setup. I really wanted something I could take out of the box and shoot and this was exactly what this bow delivers.
It gets great remarks/reviews on many different sites and for good reason. I honestly cannot put this bow down it is so much fun to shoot. Combine that with the excellent package deal and the EXCELLENT customer service provided by Twig archery and you really cannot go wrong with this bow.
I started with the 40lb limbs and have a draw length of 29.75 inches and I can shoot this bow all day and then some. There is no hand shock, the bow is very smooth/easy to draw, and out of the box with the Twig installed silencers it is essentially silent - all I hear is the thud of a twig cedar arrow burying itself into the target.
I would highly recommend this bow to anyone wanting to get started in traditional archery and even more so I would recommend getting this bow from Twig as their customer service is top notch and they will make sure you are happy and setup for success.

My Sage arrived today and I wanted to THANK YOU so very much for the quick service and for the excellent customer service and professional advice, answering all our new-shooter questions. The bow setup is perfect for me and the quiver you selected is fantastic as well. The bow shoots wonderfully and is very comfortable and accurate - plus I really like the shelf rest and the string silencers you put on it for me. Thank you!! Will definitely order from you again. :-)

Sage bought to be my first bow. After much research, I ended up coming to the site of TWIG and this was a real find of luck!
I really enjoyed the Sage by cost-effective, very fun to shoot with him, exceeded my expectations.
But even better was the service received from TWIG ARCHERY! Fantastic! They were very patient in solving my doubts, despite the difficulty of the language (Google translator).
His arrows have a great finish and I recommend everything I needed.
Thanks John!
