First off customer service is the best very nice and helpful, now to the bow samick sage t/d recurve package 1 great bow very nice looking and light weight many draw weights to choose from to make this a very versatile bow it can be used by the dad, the mom, and the kids with the right limb sets bought, my only complaint is that the string could be better but no bigs it's killer and you should get one from these great folks at twig they rock thank you very much for my bow and great service shipping is super fast also can't go wrong !!!!!!$$$$$$$$$

  4. More than pleased

Posted by Unknown on 3rd Mar 2014

I bought package 3 for the Samick Sage Take Down bow. I ordered on a Friday and received it on a Tuesday, even with Presidents Day preventing mail delivery on Monday. The Sage was easy to set up and is just beautiful to look at. This is my first bow, so I was nervous about what everyone would say at the archery club - they were beyond impressed with the quality of this bow. A guy that has been shooting for 33 years told me it was one of the best bows he'd ever shot and he had shot just about everything. The set-up was perfect for me and I have been shooting every chance I can get. The quiver that came with package 3 is very nice, durably built and has lots of storage space available.

I will definitely be ordering from Twig Archery again

  5. Perfect for beginners

Posted by Nick on 25th Feb 2014

I bought this bow a month or so ago. I am very pleased with this bow and it was my very first bow. I got the 45 pound and after a few shots it was easy to draw. I now shoot across my yard and get very close groupings. Im very pleased and recommend this bow for beginners all the way to advanced.

  6. Awesome - very happy!

Posted by Daniel M. on 5th Nov 2013

Very happy with this bow. No complaints - shoots well, handles well, easy to take down and string up. It should be worth noting that the finish does not bother me as it has with so many other customers (and not just on this site). I think it is a gorgeous bow, and as everyone else has said, you cannot beat the quality for the price! I love that it came with the silencers and arrow rest already installed. In the future I'll be buying different limb poundages to go with it. Thanks Twig Archery!

  7. Great Bow! Great Price!

Posted by Unknown on 3rd Nov 2013

After shooting for decades, moving to compound bows I wanted to get back to traditional archery without great expense to start. Getting the Sage was the best decision, this is a great shooting bow at a great price and I'm back into traditional instinctive shooting to stay. Twig Archery has provided great service, I will be a returning customer and highly recommend them to anyone wanting to get into traditional archery !!

  8. Samick Sage 55# Package 3

Posted by Kelley on 11th Oct 2013

I'll start out with Twig Archery- Ordered on a Wednesday, recieved on Saturday. Order was well packaged and had no damage what so ever.
Now the Sage- What an amazing bow for the price. Finish is not perfect, but I bought this for a hunting bow and the finish will suffer anyway. The draw weight seems a little higher than the stated 55# but it would have been a letdown if it had been less than 55#. The B50 string kept stretching and it is now my backup string. Yep. put on a FF string and even though I don't have a Chonograph, my backstop says the arrows are faster with better penetration. I also have to shoot under the mark to hit because the arrows have less arc. I shoot instictive and with the FF string on my Sage it's like a new higher poundage bow.
The Package 3- wonderful well built and designed quiver, the bow stringer I haven't used as I have one I like, but it is also top quality.
Overall, I couldn't be happier with Twig Archery or my Samick Sage bow.

I am a new Archer so i have been shopping around searching for a Re curve Bow , After finding Twig archery on the net I checked out the packages they offer as well as videos which helped me as I am new to this sport , I have been using my samick sage bow every weekend and have no complaints .
On the net there is plenty of archery websites but I feel comfortable with dealing with Twig , and when I have questions they are always happy to answer them for me . Great prices great items and no hassles so I found my one stop archery site . I am going to purchase a Samick Polaris @40 62" soon .Thanks Twig for helping me get into this sport I now love .

  10. Samick Sage great price

Posted by Unknown on 19th Aug 2013

When I ordered I didn't think I would get s top of the line recurve but for the price it is hard to beat. Not as hard hitting as the Bear Kodak hunter I tried but it will do what I want it to do. The riser could use a better finish thou.
