Wanted to get back into traditional archery. Bow was easy to assemble and had string silencers already on as part of the package I purchased. Very solid and well made and I'm glad I can go up in limb weight as I progress. Already able to shoot tight groups. Awesome bow for the price.

After a lot of research on getting my first recurve, I finally stumbled on Twig Archery and was extremely pleased with what I found. For someone starting off into trad archery, these package deals (and tutorial videos) cant be beat as they give you everything you need at a much better price then other places (with more practical stuff included I might add). Highly recommend it to anyone looking to get into archery. A lot of practice is needed to master it but I look forward to each practice session. Its a ton of fun

I just recently started my interest in archery and this bow was almost unanimously recommended by many people. I opted to get the 25# as it is the lowest poundage available so that i can work strictly on form.
This bow shoots amazingly well. It has bushings to install a sight and plunger if you want but I kept mine simple with only a stick on elevated rest.
I did upgrade the string to a 14 strand D97 fast flight string as I've seen many reviews mention that the stock string is junk.

I really wanted a gun. Decided on a more economical option. Read the survivalist forums and ultimately decided on the sage 50#. Love it, my friends love it too. Looks great and its so quiet. Challenging too, I'm hitting the target consistently and enjoying every minute. A lot of practice to go, but well worth the effort.

I can't say enough about how impressed I am with Twig Archery and my new Samick Sage. First, I ordered the bow with package 2 at 11:22pm on a wednesday night. I received everything in flawless condition by that Sat. morning. 2 days!! ARE You Kidding me?? I was expecting 10 to 14 days. Well above expectations, way to go Twig Archery.
Next I contacted Twig about arrows. I wanted affordable practice target arrows that would shoot well with my 40# draw weight. Gayle was amazing! He made a suggestion, invoiced, built and shipped everything in a very professional, very timely manner. I received my arrows in flawless condition and they have been well above expectations as well!
Finally the bow. Wow! For the money, the performance is Fantastic. The draw is smooth, it has terrific power, and it shoots straight and true. I can see why some people might have concerns about the finish but this is so inexpensive a bow that even that was above my expectations. I give this product a 5 star because it is a great value for the money. I give TWIG ARCHERY 10/10 because frankly 5 stars sells them a bit short.
I highly recommend Twig Archery and have no doubt that whether this bow is being purchased or another product, you will receive services and products well above expectations.

My first factory made bow and I couldn't be happier. Shoots sweet right out of box. Lives up to all those other glowing reviews you've seen online. My only minor quibble is that the package should have offered an adult male armguard even if it was a few bucks more. I'm not very big or heavy muscled but even the adjustable guard was too tight and too small. Still the bow is great.

I am new to archery, and wanted a reliable, affordable recurve bow to try my hand at archery. After months of researching every beginner bow on the market, I settled on the Samick Sage. I got my bow within a week of ordering, and have had a few chances to shoot this bow. In my opinion, this is an excellent bow. I've shot several hundred arrows through it by now, and it shoots smooth and straight every time. I got a low poundage bow to help build my form, and so far it is working excellent. I'm able to hit the target as far back as 35ft, and get consecutive grouping when i'm at 20ft. The riser on my samick is a really nice green/grey tinted wood with a blonde laminate. The bow came equipped with a rest, string silencers, quiver, and stringer. If your looking to try your hand at archery, this is definitely the most affordable, enjoyable bow on the market for beginners!
***Twig Archery was also EXTREMELY helpful in getting me set up with everything I needed to get started, and they were very informative and friendly. I can't imagine buying from nicer people than Gayle and John.
