Bought a 62" #35 bow as a first shooter, I have plans to buy more limbs and hunt as well. Finally finished my arrows and got to the range today, I'm very happy with this bow. It's very smooth, and quiet I can't believe I only spent $110. Well worth it.

I am new to Archery so I had to do some looking online to find out what I needed to get started in Target Archery. I couldn't do much research about finding a good starter bow without seeing the Samick Polaris mentioned. There is nothing but praise for this Bow, and I now I see why.
The bow itself is very sturdy yet still light. I personally think it looks nice aesthetically. While I am still getting accustomed to everything, it seems to be extremely accurate once you have the right set up and arrows.
Since I am new, I started out with the 40# Limbs. My draw Length is up there at 30" so I do experience a bit of that added resistance. So if you have a longer draw length, this bow will still work for you. At that poundage, it is still fairly tough to hold near the end of my draw, but I attribute that to my longer draw and the fact that I am a novice.
If you are looking for a "Starter Bow" you cannot go wrong with the Samick Polaris. I would dare to say that if you are looking for a versatile, durable and well shooting bow in general; consider the Sage. I am looking forward to using it for years! Thanks Twig Archery for the awesome package that was included!
Service and delivery comments:
My package came in about 2 days and arrived in great condition. Twig Archery did an amazing job installing the nocking point, string silencers, and shelf and side plate.
Overall this is the best package you can get anywhere.

I purchased a Samick Polaris 62” at 40lbs. The bow is beautiful and has a very smooth draw. The package arrived quickly as promised and all the components and accessories were of high quality.
It is a very consistent bow and feels very solid throughout the draw and release. The staff at twig Archery was very knowledgeable and very generous with their time and experience. I could not be happier with the entire experience. I will order from Twig Archery again.
